Tuesday, November 18, 6-9PM.   Free and open to the public. The Gender Identity Project (GIP) is re-launching its website, www.gaycenter.org/gip, to enhance its services to transgender, gender non-conforming and gender questioning individuals, their partners and families. Please join us at the launch party for the GIP's new website, offering community resources, information on upcoming events and support groups, and educational materials.

(as well as Proposition 102 (AZ), Proposition 2 (FL) and the Arkansas Adoption Ban)

Join the Impact is a group that is organizing protests nation-wide against the anti-gay propositions that were passed on Tuesday. Proposition 8 of California, Proposition 102 of Arizona, and Proposition 2 of Florida all banned gay marriage. The Arkansas Adoption Ban prevents unmarried couples from adopting children, and supporters have made it clear that this was aimed towards gay couples.
