25 Years of the NYC LGBT Center and Robert Woodworth
From http://gaycenter.org/ This year the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center in New York City turned 25 and has been celebrating the last quarter century of community service with special events and activities. Robert Woodworth, currently the Director of Meeting and Conference Services and Capital Projects, was here at the beginning and sat down with journalist and critic Bill Goldstein to talk about the history of the Center and the landmark building it is housed in on 13th Street in Greenwich Village. On November 13th there will be a special event to celebrate Robert’s 25 years of service with a reunion of current and former board members: http://gaycenter.org/node/2112 This video excerpt is from Out at the Center, a TV show of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Community Center of New York City.
