After You Vote, Mobilize!
On Election Day, Promote the Vote is mobilizing voters who receive services at two homeless shelters in Brooklyn and at Citywide Harm Reduction in the Bronx to come out and vote.
Volunteers are needed to walk with voters a few blocks away from their service provision agency to their polling site. This is a joint effort with Queers for Economic Justice and Citywide Harm Reduction. We are also looking for volunteers to help drive voters who cannot walk to one of the polling sites, 330 Alabama Avenue, Brooklyn.
This voter mobilization effort only takes a couple of hours of your
time during Election Day. Let’s come together, form community, and
ensure all of our voices are heard on Election Day.
