Scope and Content
The collection consisits of a copy of Mr. Cooper's Paper For Qualification In Metaphysics a collection of lecture notes, syllabus, papers written by himself for classes he attended, correspondence, and his wishes for what he wanted for his memorial service, first drafts of his Dissertation, and a bound copy of the Outline for the Dissertation. A releated collection is the papers of Stephen J. Powsner 080, also in the Archive.
Bio
Bruce Philip Cooper was the lover of Steven J. Powsner. Bruce Philip Cooper graduated from Choate ( class of '73 ) Cum Laude. Choate is a private Prep school of Secondary Education. Mr. Cooper received an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School in 1979. Mr. Cooper was a preceptor of Contemporary Civilization for Columbia University. He died May 11, 1987 of AIDS.
