See upcoming family events at Center Calendar: Family

Center Kids, Center Families hosts and co-hosts many events of relevance to LGBTQ parents and people thinking about becoming parents. The primary recurring events we host are Family Play Days, but we host other exciting events year-round, as well. We hope you can join us in-person soon!

CENTER KIDS, CENTER FAMILIES FAMILY PLAY DAYS - These are events where LGBTQ parents can connect and network with each other while their children have lots of fun with others their age! A baby space is provided for those under 3-years old; there are age-appropriate organized play activities for 3-to-5-year-olds and 6-to-8-year-olds; and there's a chat room for parents! Most Family Play Days are held at the Center, but we also take them "on the road" – to the theater, museums, or other play spaces. Suggested donation: $20/family, more if, less if... Upcoming Events:

• Peacemaker Theater Performance - Thursday, July 30, 7-8pm. The Think Theater Project is thrilled to bring a free performance of Peacemaker to the Center for children and parents! Pre-show activity, and a post-show discussion. Recommended for children ages 4-7 years. Check the calender for more details.
• SAVE THE DATE: Fifth Annual Men Having Babies Seminar - Saturday, September 12th, 1pm-4pm. This is an informational seminar about biological parenting for gay men. It will include a panel with legal, medical, and practical expert advice, and personal stories from parents and a surrogate. More info coming soon!
• POSTPONED: Center Kids 20th Anniversary Brunch. This event was to be held May 31, but it has now been postponed. Keep your eyes and ears peeled for more information later this year! Please contact centerkids@gaycenter.org with any questions.
