The LGBT Foster Care Project

The Administration for Children's Services’ is committed to serving children and families by protecting their safety and well-being.
  On average, over 55,000 reports of abuse or neglect are investigated on a yearly basis.  Families and children are provided counseling, referrals and preventive services according to their needs.  In addition, foster parents and caregivers are recruited and trained, with the goal of providing safe and permanent homes to children in foster care in a timely manner.  Click here for more information about Foster Care and Adoption or call the Parent Recruitment Hotline, 212 676-WISH (toll-free out of NYC 877 676-WISH
