Center Families hosts and collaborates on a variety of support groups of relevance to LGBTQ parents and people thinking about becoming parents.

ON THE ROAD TO PARENTHOOD - This group is for members of the LGBTQ community who are beginning to think about parenthood, to gather with others considering parenthood, and to share information. This group will provide members with mutual support and will also help build a network of prospective parents. Attendees will become more acquainted with the services provided by Center Families and will also have the opportunity to volunteer at Center Families events, as well as meet and mingle with Center Families community members at our play dates. 1st Tuesday of every month, 6:30 PM – 8PM Requested donation, $5 per household.

PREGNANCY SUPPORT AND NETWORKING GROUP - A support and networking group for pregnant parents-to-be wanting to connect and share their experiences and resources with others. 3rd Thursday of the month. 6:30 PM - 8 PM. Requested donation $5 per household.

PLANNING BIOLOGICAL PARENTHOOD FOR WOMEN - For women considering, preparing for, or currently in the process of conceiving through alternative insemination, please drop by this bi-monthly gathering to share your story, seek support, and exchange information with others who are also taking this exciting journey to parenthood. All are welcome. 2nd & 4th Thursday of every month, 6:30 PM - 8 PM. Requested donation, $5 per household.

PLANNING BIOLOGICAL PARENTHOOD FOR MEN- This group provides opportunities to discuss the legal, medical, financial, social and moral aspects of surrogacy and egg donation faced by the LGBTQ community. The group is also an opportunity to get together with other gay, bisexual, transgender and queer men considering parenthood to share information, provide mutual support and build a network of dads. Third Monday of every month, 6:30-8 p.m. Requested donation, $5 per household.

THE TRANSGENDER/GENDERQUEER PARENTING GROUP- Group provides a space for transgender and genderqueer parents, prospective parents, and their partners to meet, exchange information, share their stories and offer and receive support.

WANNABE DADS AND MOMS - A group for LGBTQ people exploring the possibilities of becoming parents through adoption. 1st Thursday of every month, 6:30 PM -8 PM. Requested donation, $5 per household.
