Gender Identity Project (GIP): Transgender Health Initiative of New York (THINY)
Transgender Health Initiative of New York (THINY) is a monthly drop-in advocacy group working to create a community-based trans-access to healthcare movement.
THINY meets monthly on a Tuesday, from 6 - 7:30pm, and is for transgender, gender non-conforming people and allies. It is hosted by the TLDEF, the GIP, and NYAGRA. This is a drop-in, no registration required. Free to all. In 2009, the group meets on Jan 6, Feb 3, Mar 3, Apr 7, May 5, Jul 7, Aug 4, Sep 1, Oct 6, Nov 3, and Dec 1.
