The Center Training Institute offers specialized training sessions for counselors, clinicians, case managers, students and other professionals who work with lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people in the New York City area.

Achieving culturally competent training to work with the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community is essential to clinicians practicing in a city as diverse as New York. Our series of trainings has been carefully developed to offer important information, resources, and creative clinical skills to help you enhance the lives of your LGBT clients.

The Center is a New York Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) approved provider of Continuing Education Units (CEUs).

The Center Training Institute offers two series of trainings each year during the Fall and the Spring. The cost for professionals and providers to attend, payable by cash, check or credit card, is $40.00. For students, the cost is $20.00. You may pay the day of the training or prior to attending the training via mail.
