National Gay and Lesbian Task ForceThe first national lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender civil rights
organization (founded in 1973), the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force
(the Task Force) remains in the vanguard for justice, freedom, and
equality.  The Task Force organizes and mobilizes the LGBT community to
attain equality and political power.  In addition, the Task Force has a
strong presence throughout the nation with their headquarters in
Washington, DC, and offices in New York, Los Angeles, Cambridge, and
Miami.  Recognizing that it is part of a broader social justice
movement, the Task Force is committed to the advancement of respect and
integration for all.
