<b>Improving the lives of LGBTQ youth through advocacy, education, and information</b>
Founded in 1993, as the National Advocacy Coalition on Youth and Sexual
Orientation, the National Youth Advocacy Coalition (NYAC) strives to
use the variability in life experiences as an asset. Believing that
diversity is their number one strength, NYAC sends a message to LGBTQ
youth that they are responsible for their own empowerment.
Furthermore, NYAC is strident in its demands that the needs and
interests of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and questioning youth
are expressed in all aspects of the LGBTQ movement.
