Providing medical services to over 58,000 people
and reaching over 16,000 people through outreach annually, Planned Parenthood
of Connecticut has a profound affect on many people in the state. With the mission to “protect the fundamental
right of all individuals to manage their own fertility and sexual health, and
to ensure access to the services, education and information to realize that
right,” Planned Parenthood of Connecticut carries on the ideals of its
foremothers who founded its parent organization the Connecticut Birth Control
League. With 19 clinics, located
throughout the state, PP of Connecticut
has an extensive reach that ensures no one is denied choice over their
reproductive health.
