The Pro-Choice Public Education Project (PEP) was founded to educate
young women about reproductive choice, informing a new generation of
pro-choice leaders and supporters. PEP’s work is concentrated in three
main areas: research, communications and outreach, and youth leadership
development. Most recently, PEP has focused on determining the
attitudes of young Latinas and African-American women around
reproductive health and rights. PEP uses this information in its
trainings, turning research into action. As a result, PEP allows
grassroots organizations across the country to reach out to young women
in new and inventive ways.
