The Center Orange County

Founded in 1971, The Center Orange County has long been a source of
activism for social justice on behalf of the LGBT community.  With its
location in Garden Grove, California, The Center is located both
politically and geographically at the forefront of the battle with
religious conservatives, as Orange County is home to a number of
institutions associated with the religious right.  As such, The Center
Orange County takes as its mission to advocate for, and to provide
services to, the well-being and positive identity of the entirety of
Orange County’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender population.
