Hosted by Pandora Scooter, the Center’s half-hour TV show opens with the Right Reverend Gene Robinson discussing his recent book, In the Eye of the Storm, and his efforts to encourage LGBT inclusion in the Anglican church worldwide as the first openly gay, non celibate bishop. Author Terrance Dean talks to the Center’s Clay Cane about his book Hiding in Hip Hop that exposes the underground gay scene of the hip hop music world of the 90s. There are highlights from a parent recruitment forum of the LGBT Foster Care Coalition. The Commercial Closet Association’s Michael Wilke discusses the current state of LGBT images in advertising with New York Times Advertising columnist Stuart Elliott. And the Youth Pride Chorus rocks out at their Visions of Pride concert.

Pandora Scooter

Pandora Scooter is a spoken word dynamo and queermamasapien whose passionate, funny and insightful poems and rants inspire and thrill audiences of all walks and talks. Featured in Curve Magazine's "Out In Front" series last summer, Pandora hosts and curates New Jersey Performing Arts Center's "Hip Hop: Out, Loud & Proud", a celebration of hip hop and spoken word artists from all sexual orientations and gender identities. Pandora hosts a monthly open mic for the Pride Center of New Jersey called, "Out Of The Box". Her next CD, a live, double-album CD called "Intros, Outros and In-Between" will be out this Fall. About Out at the Center

Out at the Center is a monthly half-hour TV show and podcast produced by the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Community Center of New York City. The show airs on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month at 10PM on Manhattan Neighborhood Network - Time Warner 34 and 78 (digital), RCN 107 and 83 (digital); and on the 4th Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm on Brooklyn Community Access TV, Time Warner 35 and Cablevision 68.
