Panelists will include: Michelle E. Phillips (Jackson Lewis LLP), Lenore Greenberg (Ernst & Young LLP), Cindi Creager (GLAAD) and Cathy Marino-Thomas (Marriage Equality New York). The panel will be moderated by Ken Fakler (Ernst & Young LLP). Sponsored by Ernst & Young's tri-state network for LGBT people and their allies (known as Beyond).
Panelists

Prior to joining GLAAD Cindi spent 13-years as a local and national news reporter/producer in Alaska and New York City working for ABC News, PBS Frontline and several independent documentary producers. She earned her Master’s degree from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism. During her tenure at ABC News, Cindi shot and field-produced for the series “Hopkins 24/7,” about life inside Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, which won a Columbia DuPont Award for Excellence in Broadcast Journalism.
Lenore Greenberg (Ernst & Young LLP) Lenore Greenberg is an executive director in the New York City office of Ernst & Young LLP where she is a member of the Fraud Investigation & Dispute Services practice. Lenore focuses on strategic records management solutions within the risk advisory framework for the financial, insurance, healthcare and pharmaceutical industries. She has been widely published in Internal Auditor, Compliance Week, Market Solutions, and Library Journal, and is a frequent speaker at many professional conferences. While Reform Judaism has permitted gay/lesbian religious matrimony since 1996, Roberta needed to convert to Judaism before a religious ceremony could take place. In 2004, Lenore and Roberta were religiously wed. Thanks to Governor Paterson’s courage and sense, the State of New York now acknowledges legal civil ceremonies, so Lenore and Roberta were married in San Francisco’s City Hall in July of 2008.
