Please join us for a cocktail reception celebrating the work of participants in the Center’s groundbreaking art class, “Mirror, Mirror.” The exhibition represents the outward expression of the inner reflections of participants and showcases many styles, techniques and mediums.

"Mirror, Mirror" was a weekly art course dedicated to the creativity of the human spirit and the process of healing by exploring the experiences and expectations of self-image in today's culture. Image has always been a hot topic in the LGBT community, but who decided what is "perfect" or "ideal"? This course gives you the artistic license to truly explore and not only find, but define the beauty within us all. "Mirror, Mirror" includes an introduction to art and art therapy, color theory/emotions of colors, expressing yourself through art and exploring the artist within.  Classes met weekly, October 10 -- November 21, 2008.
