Description

The Transgender Committee of the LGBT Bar Association of Greater New York (LeGaL) is hosting a winter networking event to connect law students with lawyers doing transgender legal advocacy work in New York City. Organizations tabling include the West Village Trans-Legal Clinic, Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund, Urban Justice Center's Peter Cicchino Youth Project, Sylvia Rivera Law Project, Housing Works, New York Legal Assistance Group, and Queers for Economic Justice. The event is open to LeGaL members and potential members. Light refreshments, beer, and wine will be served.
