This month QBC pays tribute to Marlon Riggs, one of the first Black-American filmmakers who celebrated Black culture and gay male sexuality, while exposing homophobia and racism. Help celebrate the long awaited DVD release of “Tongues Untied” along with a light brunch and networking. Screening includes trailers and shorts from emerging Black LGBTQ filmmakers, followed by “Tongues Untied.” QBC ReelTALK discussion with special invited guest panel and host will follow, covered by QBC TV. All are welcome to attend regardless of your sexual orientation, race or gender.
