Center Voices & BLAKKAPRIKORN Productions present Meditation on a Theme: Sexual Healing
Program 7PM, $10

"When I get that feeling...." 40 years after Stonewall, 30 years after the onset of the AIDS crisis, nearly two decades since the introduction of Don't Ask, Don't Tell, and six months since the passage of Proposition 8, where exactly are we as sensual beings in a country said to be both oversexed and highly puritanical? Has our sexuality been melded with the mainstream? Should it be? Are we sexually free to be, or are we free to be so long as we tame our public displays of affection?
Robb Leigh Davis curates this evening of lgbt writers and artists uniting to explore the self-expression of sexual connection, wondering why it can hurt so bad and what makes it feel so good.
