Amuse Your Bouche at This Year's Garden Party

Mouthwatering menu items to be featured at Garden Party revealed

Garden Party’s menu this year will feature more than amuse bouches, and will definitely amuse your bouche. Our menu is not only eclectic, but it is out-of-this-world delicious! When is the last time you had a meal comprised of Wild Striped Bass w/Ligurian Olivada; Coconut Shrimp Escabeche with grilled pineapple; Pulled Turkey Sliders with crispy shallots; Mini Boerewors Rolls; Escargots Au Pastis on garlic bread croutons; Mini Pulled Pork Sliders; Housemade Tofu with wari-joyu; Chilled Cucumber Garden Soup; Black Forest Ice Cream Cake; Crispy Cod Fish over guindilla aioli; Chorizo Croquettes; Corn Fritter with tomato jam; Swedish Meatballs with lingonberries and house-cured gravlaks; Chilled Sweet Corn Soup w/Basil Oil; Mini Chocolate Chunk Cookies, Red Velvet Cupcakes and Chamomile Tea Cookies; and Mini Maine Lobster Rolls on brioche buns? Join the Center on Monday, June 22, 2009 at Pier 54 for Garden Party to eat all this and more!

In addition to all the amazing food, there will be a fantastic Foodies Silent Auction featuring some amazing items such as tickets to “The Martha Stewart Show,” “Saturday Night Live,” gift certificates to a bevy of restaurants around the city, spa treatments and Broadway show packages, and so much more. Also featured at Garden Party is our Pick-A-Box Raffle, with a rare opportunity to win tickets to a taping of “Iron Chef America;” an amazing package of travel destinations with airfare; and a fabulous stay at the luxurious Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City that includes VIP tickets to the Atlantic City Food and Wine Festival; and so many other fun and unique items.

And this year’s exciting line-up of celebrity chefs was hand picked by our returning Event Chair, Gourmet Editor-in-Chief Ruth Reichl. Our chefs include Daniel Angerer (Klee Brasserie), Rebecca Charles (Pearl Oyster Bar) and Dave Pasternak (Esca). And joining our celebrity chefs are Café Du Soleil, Chez Lucienne, Counter Organic Wine & Cocktail Bar, Dinosaur BBQ, EN Japanese Brasserie, Gotham Bar and Grill Restaurant, La Palapa, Poco, Rosa Mexicano, Sonnier & Castle, Treats Truck, Vynl and so many more.
