From one-handed reading to two eyes glued to the monitor, what is the underlying story of gay porn? A panel of experts in the field of turn-on will discuss contemporary porn: How porn works (and doesn't work), the three basic plot lines of porn (can you guess?), the key non-plot essentials (location, casting, and mood), and how these elements work together to produce a literature that is gay specific and a mirror of our distinct and diverse community. Joining the author and moderator Perry Brass will be hard-core S & M author Laura Antiniou and other writers.
The panel discussion will be at The LGBT Center on Tuesday, May 13, with a reception at 6:00pm and the program at 7:00pm. The panel discussion will include a question and answer period. For more information, see www.SecondTuesday.org.
