Center Voices presents Gay Boy’s Dreams REALLY Do Come True!

Have you ever heard the phrase "Dreams do come true?" Well, indeed they do, but they don't always look the way we expect them to look. These Broadway songs sung by up and coming performers will inspire the knowledge Gay Boy’s Dreams REALLY Do Come True. Join us as we celebrate the power of a dream. So, close your eyes - and believe!!

Tony Westbrook's Bio: Tony Westbrook, as a little gay boy growing up in Kansas, then Virginia, dreamed of making it on Broadway. A side trip to LA lasted 17 years. During that time he recorded over 40 songs for composer/lyricist team Tim Doran and Michael Ricciardi. A project which was to culminate in a Broadway show started to simmer...then...died! However, tenacity and faith and a LOT of help from his friends, Gay AND Straight...gave him the hope to keep on going...thus resulting in this show.

Tony performed in many community theatre shows in Northern VA, including "Grease", "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat", "Annie", "Godspell", "They're Playing Our Song", "Pippin", 'Jesus Christ Superstar", "The 1940's Radio Hour", "Oliver", "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown", "Cabaret" and "Man of La Mancha".

In Hollywood he did extra work and had small bits in "Road House" starring Patrick Swayze, "The 'Burbs" starring Tom Hanks, and many TV shows. In NY he appeared in the NY Fringe Festival's "The Great Official Subway Musical" directed by Robert Petkoff and written by Victor Vorheage. He has also appeared in several "industrial" musicals here at the Center. Putting on shows like the old Mickey Rooney/Judy Garland theme has given him a chance to be with friends and just have fun.

Joining Tony in the Dream Revue will be Fred Nelson, Joe Paparella and Eric Robledo.
