Center Voices presents Working Authors Katherine A. Gleason and Dr. Walter Holland
Katherine A. Gleason has worked as a freelance writer and editor for longer than she cares to think about. Her flash fiction has appeared in such journals as Southeast Review, River Styx, La Petite Zine, Alimentum, and Mississippi Review Online, while longer stories have been printed in Best American Erotica, Best Lesbian Erotica, Cream City Review, and X: The Erotic Treasury. Her credits also include a number of nonfiction books.
Walter Holland, Ph.D., is the author of two books of poetry A Journal of the Plague Years: Poems 1979-1992 (Magic City Press, 1992) and Transatlantic, (Painted Leaf Press, 2001), as well as a novel, The March (Masquerade Books, 1996). His short stories have been published in Art and Understanding, Harrington Gay Men’s Fiction Quarterly, and Rebel Yell. Some of his poetry credits include: Antioch Review, Barrow Street, Chiron Review, and Phoebe. He lives in New York City and teaches poetry and literature at The New School and works by day as a Physical Therapist. Curator, Steven Cordova.
