For nearly three decades, Charles Busch has been an eminent playwright as well as the premiere drag artist of the American stage. His plays include The Tale of the Allergist’s Wife, Vampire Lesbians of Sodom, Red Scare on Sunset, Shanghai Moon, and the upcoming, The Divine Sister. Starring film roles include Die Mommie Die! and Psycho Beach Party.

The feature documentary film, The Lady in Question is Charles Busch, is the true-life “drag-to-riches story” of the celebrated actor and writer.

Cocktails and Performance

Charles Busch discusses his career with his longtime collaborator, Carl Andress. Then Mr. Busch, Julie Halston, Alison Fraser, and Amy Rutberg perform a scene from The Divine Sister.

General Admission: $50

VIP Admission: $75 – includes a private reception with Mr. Busch and the cast of The Divine Sister

This event benefits the Center and Ark: the LGBT Stories Project.
