MAYOR MICHAEL R. BLOOMBERG
spoke at last night's Center Dinner, reaffirming his support for same-sex marriage. Mayor Bloomberg spoke at Center Dinner in 2009, when he announced his support for same-sex marriage.

Tony Award winner JANE KRAKOWSKI performed four songs, including a song written by and accompanied by Tony Award-winning composer and lyricist MARC SHAIMAN. Krakowski is known for her role on TV's Emmy Award-winning 30 Rock.

The Center Dinner was held at the Hammerstein Ballroom on Monday, April 26, 2010. The dinner event honored outgoing Center Board President BRUCE ANDERSON and was attended by more than 450 guests and major donors. The event included The Center Social after party, which featured music by DJ LINA and took place backstage at the Hammerstein Ballroom following dinner.

MARIO PALUMBO, Board President of the Center and Partner at Millennium Partners, hosted the dinner along with DANIEL BERINGER, MICHAEL FIELD, NICK HOSEA, SHIRIN KERMAN, TOM KIRDAHY, KEN KUCHIN, SAM ROSENBLATT and SCOTT SKEY. The Center Social committee was chaired by many members of the Center's YOUNG LEADERS COUNCIL. Designer MATTHEW BETMALECK transformed the ballroom into an elegant space for dinner and the after party.

The Center Dinner was created to raise funds to enable the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center to continue its important work by offering services to improve the lives of those in the LGBT community.
