Technology Instructors

Our Cultural Programs department is working to expand technology education at the Center and is seeking volunteer instructors to lead workshops in our David Bohnett CyberCenter.

This is a great opportunity to share your expertise with those in need of skills development! We are seeking instructors to teach one evening workshop per month on subjects such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook, as well as resume development and design.

If you have the skills and background necessary to instruct a computer-skills and/or job preparation workshop, contact Kate Shaffer at kshaffer@gaycenter.org.

Kate and our Cultural Programs team will work with you to develop a curriculum and other details, including workshop marketing. Before you know it, you’ll be facilitating your first class! Workshop instruction is not only a great opportunity to give back to community, but it also helps to support the Center. To learn more, contact kshaffer@gaycenter.org today!
