Get Ready, Get Set…Get Married!  Wedding Planning Do’s and Don’ts; Hints and Tips for Engaged (or soon-to-be) LGBT Couples of New York City

Center Speakers is hosting a special event for LGBT couples who are planning to get married, or at least thinking about tying the knot. The best queer\ally professional wedding planners in the business discuss the do’s and don’ts of planning your own wedding.

Discuss how to avoid horrifying color combinations (neon green and orange are not wedding colors), how to find the perfect dress for your bridesmaids or groomsmen (chiffon is a dirty word), when to find your caterer (It won’t cost a million dollars!) and keeping the soon to be in-laws in line and happy. Discover the real secrets to a traditional (modestly priced) yet fabulous queer wedding!
