Q & Gay presents Sex from the 70s to Scruff
This special installment of our new intergenerational talk-show series, Q & Gay, takes a look back at hooking-up – then and now. Combining oral history with community discussion, this event will offer unique insights, personal stories, and candid conversation into how our community views sex, hooking up, and everything in between.
From the bathhouses to smart phone apps, we'll showcase this discussion of gay sex in New York against the backdrop of Haring's erotic art.
For mature audiences only!
Confirmed guests include: Johnny Scruff, co-founder and inventor of the Scruff smartphone app; Frank Sheehan, erotic artist; Joe Lovett, director of the documentary Gay Sex in the 70s; and Rob Zukowski, photographer and community activist.
Got a burning question for our panel? Tweet it at @LGBTCenterNYC with hashtag #QandGay and we'll be sure to ask it on Tuesday night!
