Center Cinema presents Drawing the Line

Wrapping up our month of Keith Haring Unveiled, The Center will offer a free community screening of the 1990 Haring documentary, Drawing the Line. Following the screening of this 30-minute film on the artist's life and work, we will present a panel discussion featuring those who knew him best. Friends and contemporaries will offer their memories about Keith Haring, the 1989 Center Show, the East Village scene, and the art world that once was.

Panelists will include:

Dave Nimmons, former Center Board President when the mural was created
Gary Speziale, artist and participant in the ’89 Center Show
Ricardo Montez, New School Professor and Haring scholar

Moderated by Paul Menard, the Center's Director of Cultural Programs
