Why We Ride...

"I was diagnosed with AIDS at the end of 2004 and my T-Cells quickly dropped to 28. The Center was the first place I looked for support in the HIV/AIDS Community. I went to The Center looking for support and attended a group geared to assist newly diagnosed gay men. This group gave me the opportunity to meet other men with similar situations, express my fear, face the possibility of death, talk about medications, relationships, family, stigma, shame, disclosure, sex after HIV, and I learned to take new steps to start living again. It was a difficult time in my life and I will be forever grateful to the Center for the help I received. Because of the support I received at The Center, I am in a good space and I'm capable to help those in need today" -Osvaldo P.

It's stories like Osvaldo's that keep us doing the work that we do; and we are able to provide clients the support they need because of -- you! Your commitment to participating in Cycle for the Cause and to raising the funds for the Center is making a difference in so many people's lives. You truly are a hero.
