A limited number of $40 rush tickets to the star-studded Broadway Backwards 7 will be released for sale at 6:30 Pm on Monday, March 5, 2012. The rush tickets will be sold outside the Al Hirschfeld Theater (302 West 45th Street) and will not be available at the box office. Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, cash only and are limited to two tickets per person. The show begins at 8 PM.

Broadway Backwards, the only annual Broadway event for the LGBT community, our friends and family, will return for one night only on March 5 at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre.



Broadway Backwards features some of Broadway's biggest names singing songs originally written for the opposite gender: women singing songs written for men and men singing songs written for women. More importantly, at Broadway Backwards women sing about other women and men sing about other men. Broadway Backwards gives its audience a chance to experience some of the most treasured songs of the Great White Way in a new context.

Creator Robert Bartley will again direct and choreograph this star-studded evening with musical direction by Mary-Mitchell Campbell.

The event is produced by Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and will benefit the Center and BC/EFA. Last year's event raised a record-breaking $281,243 for the two organizations.
