This year’s Center Dinner honored outgoing Center Board President Bruce Anderson.

Bruce has been a tireless champion and superb leader since 2000, serving as Board President from 2005-2009. Recently, Bruce was our Interim Executive Director for nine months during which he guided the Center through the transition to our new Executive Director, Glennda Testone. He founded Dancing on the Beach, which has become one of the Center’s biggest and most successful fundraising events. While Board President he helped the Center win the Allan Morrow Prize for Excellence in Board Leadership. This year, we are thrilled to recognize Bruce’s unwavering leadership and awe-inspiring dedication.

This year's dinner will include admission to The Center Social after party, held backstage at Hammerstein Ballroom. Tickets for The Center Social may be purchased separately for $50 (price to increase to $75 on April 12, 2010).

The Center is pleased to announce performances by the Youth Pride Chorus, who will perform in dedication to honoree Bruce Anderson, and Tony Award-winning actress Jane Krakowski. Krakowski is known for her work on TV’s 30 Rock and Ally McBeal, and in such films as National Lampoon’s Vacation, Alfie and most recently Cirque du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant. She earned a Tony Award for her performance in Broadway’s Nine.
