Center Youth provides LGBTQ young people and allies ages 13-21 with community support to foster healthy development in a safe, affirming, sex-positive environment. Center Youth offers:
- Peer leadership training
- Discussion groups
- Creative art workshops
- College and career readiness and support

- One-on-one support
- Social activities and events
- Performing arts programming
Leadership ProgramsSummer Camp
A summer-long leadership program that culminates in a week-long, residential camp designed to empower lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender young people with the support, knowledge and skills they need to take charge of their own health and well-being.
Youth Leadership Internships
Center Youth leadership internships help young people develop the skills to succeed in school, work, community and beyond. There are a variety of opportunities of varying commitment levels open to current participants in our drop-in program.

Center Youth is a great place to get to know new people. Meet with Center staff and other young people to have fun, find out what's going on in the program, and to share information about what's going on in the community. The afternoon closes with an hour-long, peer-led Community Discussion Group, and Community Social, with snacks and free time hang out and make new friends.
Young Women's and Young Men's Discussion Groups
Both of these groups offer young people an opportunity to connect with their peers in a safe environment and engage in meaningful discussion on a range of topics generated by the group members.
A weekly Movie Night devoted to screening films that help build understanding of identity and bring visibility to our communities.

Visual and Performing Arts Programs
Youth Pride Chorus
A collaboration with the New York City Gay Men’s Chorus where participants learn choral music at weekly rehearsals and perform in concerts at The Center and on the road. Auditions are required to join.
Outspoken Views ‘Zine
The Outspoken Views ‘Zine, published three times a year, is a cut and paste magazine created and curated by Center Youth and filled with art, photos, poems, stories, quotes and questions.
