At the YES program we believe everyone has a right to creative self-expression, uncensored. We provide plenty of opportunities for young people to get involved in the creative arts, to work with guest artists from the community, and to participate in cultural events through field trips. YES members can enroll in all kinds of hands-on workshops including visual arts workshops and creative writing workshops facilitated by guest artists and YES staff. In addition, we are the home of the nation's largest youth pride chorus. Some other special arts programs include we have going on are:

Youth Pride Chorus - a collaboration with the New York City Gay Men’s Chorus where participants learn choral music in weekly rehearsals and perform in concerts here at the Center and on the road. Auditions for the Youth Pride Chorus are held in September and January.
